- PLACE OF BIRTH: BB - His parents sold their land in Maine in Oct 1810 and William N. Austin was born in April 1811 NY, which tells me Polly was pregnant with William during their move to Western NY. So, it's feasible that William may have been born during the trip perhaps Sweden/Clarendon, NY.??
