Their existence is based on marriage records and claims made in a widow's pension application for a John Robert Austin, presumably their son. This database presents both Austin lines of Elba "Eb" Branscomb Austin, husband of Ruth Marshall Austin who did the initial research. Elba's father's ancestral line ends at Miles Austin. His mother's ancestral line ends at John Austin. Both progenitors are detailed here. Research so far has been able to connect John and Miles to a common ancestor. | |
